Our baby room has spaces for 12 babies on a daily basis and we operate on a 1:3 ratio. The room is designed for babies from the age of 12 weeks- 2 years meaning a wide range of resources at their level are available for them to explore.
We have created a warm and calming environment to make the transition from home to nursery a smooth and comfortable experience for you and your family.
Our nurturing staff understand how important it is for them to meet the needs of your baby through close communication and care. We will support and accommodate all of our families as we understand every child is unique and routines may vary on a day to day basis. Staff will also undertake specific baby care training and paediatric first aid to ensure they are meeting the needs of every child within our care.

Our toddler room is an open-plan, light and spacious room with specific areas for them to explore and play. Our room is set up for 24 children on a daily basis and we work on a 1:4 ratio.
We believe in supporting independence and have implemented this across the room in many ways including role play and self-registration. We will also support potty training by working with you and keeping our routines similar.
We have routines in place to support all of our children and ensure that our staff are motivated and the environment is enriching and stimulating to ensure all of our children thrive.
Staff will also be first aid trained as they safety of your child will always be a top priority.
Children will participate in a range of activities on a daily basis to support their learning and development during their time at Adventure Awaits Day Nursery.

Our pre-school room is on the first floor within our nursery. We work on a 1:8 ratio and have spaces for 40 children, our room is set up for children age 3-5 years.
We have a large space for children to explore including an indoor sand pit and a variety of other resources. On a daily basis, children will participate in numerous activities including water play, messy play, cooking and many more. The pre-school environment supports independence and staff are trained to ensure they are meeting the needs of all children within our care.
We follow the EYFS whilst ensuring that children are enjoying their nursery experience. Children are taught vital life skills throughout their journey with us and share experiences to enrichen their lives.
Outdoor
At Adventure Awaits Day Nursery we understand the importance of outdoor play. We have worked hard to make our garden a wonderful and inviting environment to stimulate the children’s learning and development.
Every child within our care will have the opportunity to explore the wonderful outdoors on a daily basis. The weather will not put us off as we have access to wellies and waterproofs so jumping in muddy puddles is not a problem!
Our garden features a mud kitchen where children can make mud pies and use their skills to mix and create. We also have a water wall where children can pour and explore together!
